SIEF began as an event organiser bringing together top leaders and innovators at our Annual Summits. A decade later, we have built an institution uniquely equipped to help leading entrepreneurs and companies from China and worldwide to transform their dialogues into outcomes.
Lead by Mr Long Yongtu, Secretary-General of the Boao Forum for Asia, over 100 top entrepreneurs and heads of leading state-owned enterprises visited London to engage with their European counterparts. Today, Mr Long remains committed to supporting our mission and we are are privileged to receive his guidance.
Marking the fifth gathering in Europe, we officially adopted the name Sino-European Entrepreneurs Summit (SEES). SEES continues to develop, in addition to bringing together key influencers from business, SEES has also welcomed the heads of European nations, including Prime Minister Gordon Brown, President Nicolas Sarkozy and President François Hollande.
Now under the SIEF umbrella, SEES currently convenes approximately 400 delegates annually, with equal representation from China and Europe.
The first China-Africa Investment Forum (CAIF) was held in Marrakech, Morocco. African leaders from business and government of the highest-levels welcomed over 150 of their counterparts from China. They presented one another with specific commercial opportunities and discussed practical ways in which they could forge mutually-beneficial partnerships.
CAIF is placed under the High Patronage of King Mohammed VI and organised in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry, Investment, Trade and Digital Economy of the Kingdom of Morocco and Mr Moulay Hafid Elalamy.
Australia became the third region chosen by SIEF, based on the its exceptional opportunities for bilateral growth in the areas of agribusiness, healthcare, technology, infrastructure, environment and financial services.
The inaugural Sino-Australasian Entrepreneurs Summit was successfully held in Sydney, co-chaired by the Hon. John Howard and Mr David Murray. It convened a delegation of over 200 senior business and political leaders from China and Australia.
This year will mark the official launch of the Sino-International Entrepreneurs Federation (SIEF) brand and its first Annual Summit in China.
The inaugural Sino-International Entrepreneurs Summit (SIES) held in Wuhan marks another significant step for SIEF, as we begin to host major programs in China.
SEES, SAES and CAIF continues to go from strength to strength and were all fruitfully conducted.
Finally, SIEF Beijing Centre – Prince Palace officially opened.
The SEES Qingdao took place on 1st Nov. Co-organized by SIEF and the Qingdao Municipal Government. By hosting SEES in both Europe and China, we facilitate two-way trade and investment discussions.
This is also a milestone for SIEF’s expansion within China.
The Carbon Neutrality Committee was established during the Electric Valley Summit co-organized by SIEF and the Hebei Province.
SIEF started the community program with an industrial focus.
During the outbreak of Covid-19, SIEF gathered suppliers from China to support our international partners in terms of procurement and logistics.
SIEF started the City Programme, leading international companies in China to explore business opportunities in 2 tier cities in China.

The inaugural Auto Valley Forum held in Wuhan marks another significant step for SIEF
The Maritime High-quality Development Forum was co-organized by SIEF, during which the Blue Alliance was established.
SIEF is now offering more industrial insights for Chinese and international companies.
During the second "Auto Valley Forum," we invited over 100 French automotive industry enterprises, both upstream and downstream, to participate in face-to-face business negotiations with vehicle manufacturers and parts suppliers in Wuhan. This marks the largest delegation of foreign entrepreneurs to visit Wuhan since the outbreak of the pandemic three years ago.
The second China-Arab Entrepreneurs Summit was once again held in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, marking a successful continuation of the inaugural event last year.
The first Sino-Japan Entrepreneurs Summit was successfully held in Japan, where approximately 200 Chinese and Japanese entrepreneurs gathered to engage in multi-day exchanges on topics such as financial investment, new energy, and healthcare and wellness.
