Communication and Exchange: Four Major Institutional Visits


1. Shimadzu Corporation

On the morning of June 27, the delegation visited Shimadzu Corporation in Kyoto. Founded in 1875 by Genzo Shimadzu, the company was an early pioneer in the development of scientific instruments, having produced photoelectric spectrophotometers, gas chromatographs, and X-ray analyzers as early as the 1950s. With core strengths in optical technology, X-ray technology, and image processing, Shimadzu has continuously introduced innovations, earning a strong global reputation for its high-tech products. Today, the company continues to explore groundbreaking technologies in fields such as life sciences and environmental protection, developing products with far-reaching significance.

During the visit, the entrepreneurial delegation engaged in discussions and mutual learning with Shimadzu around the following three themes:

  1. Continuous Innovation: Shimadzu places innovation at the heart of its corporate development, consistently launching new technologies and products to meet evolving market demands.


  2. Social Responsibility and Sustainability: Shimadzu is committed to contributing to society through science and technology, integrating its social responsibilities with its business objectives. Its innovations in life sciences and environmental protection exemplify this commitment to sustainable development.


  3. International Cooperation: With a global presence and extensive partnerships, Shimadzu offers valuable insights for Chinese entrepreneurs on expanding into international markets and fostering cross-cultural collaboration.



2. OMRON Corporation

On the afternoon of June 27, the delegation visited OMRON Corporation in Kyoto. OMRON’s Automation Showroom addresses challenges faced in manufacturing environments by showcasing its products and technologies through working prototypes. The showroom simulates real-life production scenarios and equipment, allowing clients to jointly experience, verify, and validate potential solutions alongside OMRON experts.


Delegation members had the opportunity to personally interact with and operate various OMRON products, including blood pressure monitors. A highlight of the visit was an engaging and entertaining ping-pong match against a robot in the showroom, which sparked great interest and enthusiasm among the guests.


3. Panasonic Corporation

On the morning of June 28, the Chinese business delegation participating in the Sino-Japanese Entrepreneurs Summit, led by Chairman Long Yongtu, visited the Konosuke Matsushita Memorial Museum in Osaka. The delegation was received by Mr. Zhao Bingdi, Vice President of Panasonic Corporation Northeast Asia Company and Director & President of Panasonic Corporation (China), along with other senior executives from Panasonic headquarters.

Chairman Long delivered a speech at the event, highlighting Panasonic's pioneering role as one of the first foreign enterprises to enter the Chinese market. He acknowledged Panasonic's outstanding contributions to China’s economic development and to the internationalization of Chinese enterprises, noting that the company has served as a benchmark for domestic firms. Mr. Zhao warmly welcomed the Chinese entrepreneurs and introduced Panasonic’s current core business areas, including smart home technology, intelligent automotive components, and hydrogen energy solutions for residential and industrial use.

During the open discussion session, the Chinese entrepreneurs expressed strong interest in Panasonic's various business sectors and engaged in in-depth exchanges with Mr. Zhao. Notably, Meijin Energy held a detailed discussion with Panasonic on collaboration in the hydrogen energy sector, with both sides expressing intentions for further cooperation.

The delegation also toured the Konosuke Matsushita Memorial Museum, gaining insights into Panasonic’s journey from its humble beginnings to its global success. They also learned about the company’s corporate culture and its strategic direction for the future.



4. Chosei Holdings: High-End Senior Care Project in Japan

On the morning of June 28, the Chinese business delegation participating in the Sino-Japanese Entrepreneurs Summit, at the invitation of Chosei Holdings Co., Ltd., visited the Rose Park City Longlife Gakken Keihanna facility located in Neyagawa City, Osaka Prefecture. The delegation was warmly received by Mr. Takuma Endo, Chairman of Chosei Holdings.


During the meeting, Mr. Endo provided a detailed introduction to the history and founding vision of the Longlife senior care institutions. He explained the company’s mission to deliver high-quality elderly care services, and shared comprehensive information about the facility’s infrastructure and service offerings. Mr. Endo also elaborated on the various care services provided to residents, along with the corresponding pricing standards.

Following the briefing, Mr. Endo personally led the delegation on a tour of the senior care facility. The delegation expressed high praise for the beautiful environment, well-equipped facilities, and personalized care services, and engaged in meaningful discussions with Mr. Endo based on their visit experience.

During the exchange, the delegation showed particular interest in Chosei’s collaborative senior care project in Qingdao, China, undertaken with Xinhua Jin Group. Both sides held detailed discussions on the project’s operations, service features, and future development potential. They also explored possible opportunities for investment and cooperation.

This visit significantly enhanced mutual understanding between Chinese and Japanese entrepreneurs in the field of elderly care services and laid a solid foundation for future collaboration. As Sino-Japanese economic and trade relations continue to deepen, the outlook for cooperation in social sectors such as senior care is promising and full of potential.
